South-east Watch Tower In Zanana Enclosure
BRIEF HISTORY: It is located to the south-east of Zanana Enclosure and has an octagonal shaft which contains a central, circular staircase surrounded by vaulted chambers, some with arched openings. The upper level has projecting balconies on eight sides, with intermediate openings double curved eaves run continuously around the structure and is also extended outwards over the balconies. Above are eight separate parapet elements each in the form of kuta-sikhara. The superstructure of the tower has two recessed mouldings capped by a ribbed finial .
