BRIEF HISTORY:This dilapidated temple, datable to circa sixteenth-seventeenth century A.D., is located on a rocky hill namely Swamappgudda, In the south-west part of the village. It has on plan, a mantapa facing east. There is a small plastered tower over the roof of the garbgagriha. The door¬jambs of the entrance leading to the garbhagriha are plain with kumbha motif at the base. Inside the garbhagriha there are two pedestals and a mutilated nandi sculpture.
