Ruined Tank To Northeast Of Pattabhirama Temple
BRIEF HISTORY:This rectangular tank is situated about 100 m east of Pattabhirama temple. It is veneered internally with stone slabs with flights of steps from all cardinal directions leading to the water. It has a four-pillared mantapa raised on a platform at its centre with a small brick superstructure of single tier. Typical to the tank architecture of the times, the tank had pillared mantapas on all sides but preserved only in the north side. The pillars of the central pavilion are carved with bas-reliefs.
